Introducing our NEW Active Dateboook & Active App

The best teachers know that making the content fun for their students helps increase classroom participation and therefore retention of the subject matter. Our newest offering takes advantage of that skillfully-subtle teaching method and applies it to the digital age through a medium that’s familiar to students.

The ACTIVE DATEBOOK from School Datebooks integrates the same content from all our planners into a fun, participation-based app that allows students to earn points for doing the things they should.

It features new layout and content that address the whole student every week!

  • Time Management
  • Healthy Tips
  • Positive Mental Health
  • Study Tips
  • Planning for Success
  • Parent-Teacher Communication
  • This Week in History
  • Vocabulary

Students can then earn points in the ACTIVE APP by completing fun activities on various subjects: simply answering questions, acting out famous moments in history, or compiling a short video biography or book report!

In a nutshell, we’ve created a datebook encouraging students to physically participate in the LEARNING PROCESS. We’re sure your  students will enjoy the challenges — all while getting them on the road to success!

Students will have fun with three skill categories to choose from:

Physical Skills

Whether push-ups, planks, juggling, or wall sits, students will have many options for how they choose to get active by completing a variety of Physical Skills challenges. There are even fun ways for students to learn the basics of sports like soccer, basketball, and
baseball – or, choose to learn yoga, martial arts, and even skateboarding!

Academic Skills

History, math, science, geography, and language arts – these topics and much more are included in the Academic Skills challenges path of the Active app. Students will practice the skill or work on the problem, then submit their best performance video proving they have accomplished the challenge.

Life Skills

Eating healthy, gardening, volunteering, and even civic engagement are all topics covered in the Life Skills challenges path of the Active app. This category of skill challenges is meant to cover the intangible skills that students may not learn in school, helping round out their education!
